Hack64 is an N64 community site with its own web patcher. The form is three fields: the ROM, the patch, and a name to save. The formats listed on it are APS, BPS, IPS, Star Rod MOD, PPF, UPS, and VCDIFF. There is a skip-checksums switch. I could not find a version number that belongs in the table, so the version cell stays empty. Empty is a result, not a placeholder I plan to fill with a guess.
The interesting difference from this site is that switch. Skipping a checksum will produce a file when the base is wrong. Hack64 exposes the choice because N64 dumps wander through byte orders and bad headers, and people would rather see a file than a red error. I think that is a worse default. A BPS source check exists to stop a .v64 being treated as a .z64. If you skip it, you own the result. Our home embed does not add a skip button. The N64 page tells you to byte-swap first.
Star Rod mods are Paper Mario's patch container. The engine has a PMSR module for them. Hack64 listing MOD next to IPS is a real format list, not a synonym. If your file is .mod, both tools are talking about that module family. If your file is .z64 plus .bps, you do not need Hack64 specifically. Any current BPS applicator works, including the one on the home page.
I am not copying their ROM library. This page is the UI description and the checksum warning. Related pages: N64 byte order, BPS, and the formats row for APS10. The license line was not marked on the page I would need in order to repeat it, so I leave the license blank.
