rompatcher.pro applies patch files in your browser and explains the formats those files use. The engine is Rom Patcher JS by Marc Robledo. The license is MIT, with an Octicons notice. The commit this site runs is 4f17297, dated 21 Oct 2026, because that change adds LZMA secondary decoding. GitHub's tagged release v3.2.1 is dated 4 Nov 2025. The author's own hosted page was labeled v3.5 when it was checked. I keep those as three facts. The credit line under the tool is his. The writing, the hash tables, and the Korean strings are mine.
I do not host ROMs or patch files. Guides link to an author page when one was checked. Hashes are copied from pret and decomp repositories or left blank. Version disagreements stay visible. The editorial policy is the longer version of that rule. Contact is [email protected], which is the address on the domain.
The visual frame is a dark workbench because the engine's own stylesheet is a dark tool, not a storefront. The patcher you open from the home page is the engine, loaded from this origin after you ask for it. The outer page requests its advertising and Clarity scripts by default. Reject in Cookie settings stops them and stores that choice for 180 days; the privacy policy names the services and explains their storage.
You can read the licenses page for the MIT text and the changelog for what the pin means. The names page explains the other projects that share the word RomPatcher.
