Usamune ROM is a Super Mario 64 practice modification with tools such as savestates, input displays, timers, and level selection. The project’s Google Sites page describes these functions, and the independent SM64 emulator guide recommends the same project for practice. Use that project page as the starting point rather than guessing a domain from the name.
The project page links its patcher and manual and lists regional builds. Its update history records v1.93j, v1.93u, v1.93e, v1.93s, and v1.93vc on 2 January 2023, alongside the separate Singlestar v1.11 editions. That dated release history is one publisher’s record. It does not mean every edition accepts the same base. Match the Japanese, US, European, Shindou, or Virtual Console input required by the edition you select.
For the US cartridge edition, compare your big-endian .z64 against SHA-1 9bef1128717f958171a4afac3ed78ee2bb4e86ce. Both the n64decomp repository and the independent SM64 emulator guide publish this US hash. A byte-swapped .v64 or little-endian .n64 has different bytes and a different hash. Convert only when the patch instructions require that order; a regional mismatch is not repaired by renaming the file.
Open the project page below for its current patcher instructions. This site does not host a Usamune patch or a ROM. If you already have a patch file from the project, choose a tool that supports its actual format and retain the original dump. The patch extension and requirements belong to the downloaded release, so no universal patch format is assigned here. Related guides explain Mario 64 hashes, N64 byte order, and checksum errors.
